(1) Function selection for ports
ESIF: Serial interface enable (E8HD0)
Selects function for P10–P13.
When "1" is written:

When "0" is written:

Valid
When the serial interface is used, write "1" to this register and when P10–P13 are used as I/O port, write
"0". The configuration of the terminals within P10–P13 that are used for the serial interface is decided by the
mode selected with the SCS0 register.
At initial reset, this register is set to "0".
(2) I/O port control
P00–P03, P10–P13: I/O port data (B2H, B6H)
I/O port data can be read and output data can be set through these ports.
When writing data
When "1" is written:
High level
When "0" is written:
Low level
When an I/O port is set to the output mode, the written data is output unchanged from the I/O port
terminal. When "1" is written as the port data, the port terminal goes high (VDD), and when "0" is written,
the level goes low (VSS).
Port data can be written also in the input mode.
