10.16 Output configuration
10.16.1
Basic output configuration
The use of a differentially coupled transformer output (see
Figure 22
) provides optimum
distortion performance. In addition, it helps to match the impedance and provides
electrical isolation.
The DAC1627D1G25 can operate a differential output of up to 2 V (p-p). In this
configuration, it is recommended to connect the center tap of the transformer to a 62
Ω
resistor, which is connected to the 3.3 V analog power supply. This adjusts the DC
common-mode to around 2.7 V (see
Figure 23
).
