8. Functional description
The MFRC523 transmission module supports ISO/IEC 14443 A and ISO/IEC 14443 B
Read/Write mode at various transfer speeds and modulation protocols.
8.1 ISO/IEC 14443 A functionality
The physical level communication is shown in
Figure 5
.
The physical parameters are described in
Table 4
.
The MFRC523’s contactless UART and dedicated external host must manage the
ISO/IEC 14443 A protocol.
Figure 6
shows the data coding and framing according to
ISO/IEC 14443 A.
