CONNECTING THE LU7790H2D1A
The LU7790H2D1A add-on board plugs into the
extension connector on the LU7790H2AB0 evaluation
board as shown in Figure 1.
The voice input function and the touch screen inter-
face can be used immediately without any modifica-
tions on the evaluation board.
To use the DMTN and color LCD interfaces on the
add-on board, the negative LCD supply voltage VEE-
generated on the evaluation board must be supplied to
the add-on board.
Newer versions of the evaluation board have the
necessary wire jumper installed by the factory. Check
the bottom side of your LU7790H2AB0 evaluation
board. If there is a wire connected to J12, pin 43 or pin
44, your board is prepared for the operation with the
add-on board and you can use it right away.
If your evaluation board doesn’t have a wire con-
nected to J12, pin 43 or pin 44, you need to install a
wire jumper before you can use the add-on board with
a DMTN or color panel. The wire jumper must be
installed between pin 2 of Q8 and pin 43 of J12 as
shown in Figure 2.
