perform legacy emulation. The host controller decodes
access to I/O registers 60h and 64h and IRQ1 or IRQ12
occur if the access is acceptable. The host controller may
also generate an emulation interrupt when necessary to
call up the emulation software.

conditions. This bit’s value becomes “1” when emulation
interrupt status is ON.

to this bit in order to clear this setting (to “0”). Nothing
occurs when software writes “0” to this bit.

for IRQ12 from the keyboard controller. Software writes
“1” to this bit in order to clear this setting (to “0”). Nothing

controller’s GateA20. When GateA20Sequence is active,
this bit is used for comparison with the value that was
written to 60h.
