An alarm signal can be output from pin N4. (Note that this is only

An alarm signal modulated at 1, 2 or 4 kHz can be output. (These
frequencies are output when 0 is 32.768 kHz.)
A carrier signal can be output from N3. (Note that this is only when
the N3 output latch is low.)
