Description
These new generation LED lamps
capitalize on new packaging
technology and large LED chip
sizes.
Offering greater efficiency at high
current than other LED
technologies, these lamps are
ideal for high power – and high
brightness – applications. The
light output of these lamps can
enable new applications where
other LED packages have never
been able to perform.
Built with the same Aluminum
Indium Gallium Phosphide
(AlInGaP) LED technology as
Hewlett-Packard’s Precision
Optical Performance lamps, the
products deliver a luminous
efficiency of approximately 18
lumen per watt.
These lamps are specially binned
for flux, color, and forward
voltage, ensuring the robustness
of your designs.
Reliability
Applications with short lifetime
requirements can benefit from
this product’s ability to withstand
high currents up to 385 mA.
Lamps in longer lifetime
applications can be safely driven
at 280 mA.
These parts require the use of a
heat sink. An LED Junction
Temperature of 120
o
C is not
recommended. Ignoring these
requirements will result in rapid
light output degradation.
Electrical insulation between the
case and the board is required.
