DESIGN TOOL
The Processor Expert RAD tool is designed to
complement the existing development environment for
Motorola’s 56800/E hybrid controllers and to allow rapid
development of efficient, high-level software
applications that are portable and reusable.
Standard libraries include peripheral drivers (beans),
signal processing libraries, application-specific
algorithms, software services, example applications and
RTOS support, allowing you to focus on value-added IP
immediately. The tool also includes comprehensive
documentation of software components and hardware
and silicon solutions that help you quickly create a wide
variety of applications.
The Processor Expert tool defines a standard for software
interfaces and framework across the entire line of
Motorola’s 8- and 16-bit processors, helping to ensure
that your investment in software development is
maintained regardless of your target processor.
This tool is fully integrated with the CodeWarrior
Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and EVM and
development system hardware. It is structured to support
the entire life cycle of your product development—from
evaluation and custom hardware and software
development to support of fielded equipment—
maximizing use of your limited resources.
MOTOROLA and the Stylized M Logo are registered in the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
The 56F800 and 56F8300 products incorporate SuperFlash technology licensed from SST.
