Cautions 1. When using the subsystem clock oscillation circuit, observe the following conditions for
the wiring of that section enclosed in dotted lines in the above diagrams, so as to avoid the
influence of the wiring capacitance.
Keep the wiring as short as possible.
Do not allow signal wires to cross one another.
Keep the wiring away from wires that carry a high, non-stable current.
Keep the grounding point of the capacitors at the same level as V
SS
.
Do not connect the grounding point to a grounding wire that carries a high current.
Do not extract a signal from the oscillation circuit.
2. The subsystem clock oscillation circuit is designed to have a low amplification degree so
as to maintain a low current drain. Therefore, it is more likely to malfunction as a result of
noise than the main system clock oscillation circuit. When using the subsystem clock,
therefore, pay particularly careful attention to how it is wired.
